- Ensenada

Introduction

Located 90 minutes from San Diego and 68 miles from Tijuana, Ensenada is the third-largest city in Baja California and Mexico’s second most important port for cruise ships. Each year a little more than half a million people visit her shores and their motives are many.

Sport fishing, diving, kayaking and sailing are only some of the activities happening in Ensenada’s Bahia de Todos los Santos. Each April, the city hosts the famous Newport Beach Regatta, in which more than 600 sailboats participate. Some 28 miles away is Valle de Guadalupe, the country’s leading wine-growing region. You can tour the vineyards and enjoy their harvests.
