- Cabo San Lucas

Introduction

Most activity in Cabo revolves around the San Lucas Harbor and its marina, home to shops, hotels, timeshares and an aquarium. It’s also home to the area’s largest shopping center, Puerto Paraiso, with gourmet and informal dining, nightclubs, shops, cinemas and other services.

At the marina, you can hook up with deep-sea charters, sunset booze cruises, whale-watching excursions or glass-bottom motorboat rides to El Arco (The Arch), a rock formation that marks a marine refuge for hundreds of species of fish and the starting point of an underground canyon believed to be as deep as the Grand Canyon. Bring a picnic and stop off at romantic Lover’s Beach, around the corner from the arch. From there you can walk over to its partner on the Pacific, named Playa Solmar (and nicknamed Divorce Beach).
